Hello, I am happy to report concerning Dr. Chen's treatment. On 9-99, a needle biopsy discovered prostate cancer with a gleason score of 7. The first PSA was 12.5 and it is now 29.2. However I am 79, am very active and feel well. Bone scans to this point have shown no spread of the cancer. The HMO surgeon in 99 pressured me to have surgery and then possibly radiation. I refused as some of my friends have had both with unhappy results. From the time of the biopsy, or shortly thereafter, Dr. Chen has treated me weekly with herbs and acupuncture. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1996. I've gone through some of the standard medical treatments such as Aleve, minocycline, methotrexate, Arava (leflunomide), and finally weekly injections of Enbrel. Due to complications with the drugs, I was taken off everything except Arava, and as a result I started having painful "flares" or breakthroughs of the arthritis about once a month. My medical doctor recommended a monthly infusion of Orencia as the next treatment. That's when I heard of Dr. Chen. I began twice weekly acupuncture treatments for my immune system and feel better than I have in years. I am still taking a lower dose of leflunomide, but I have not had to go on heavier medications. Dr. Chen's treatments have eliminated the painful "flares" of rheumatoid arthritis.

It is rare coming across a physician that is both warmed-hearted as well as knowledgeable. gerard, my husband, was episodes of chest pain beginning last spring in 2004. He went through the regular medical proceedures and those procedures were disconnecting in that only the symptom was being attended to. What Ted did was to begin to doubt what was going on in his physical make up. In September 2004 the chest pain came everyday and gerard went back to our Kaiser doctor, where upon he was prescribed three medications and told that if he felt bad, go to emergency. At that point we came to Dr. Chen, the treatments and herbals Dr. Chen gives gerard relieves and diminishes the episodes. Doctor instills confidence in his patients and relieves worry. Last month, gerard had to go into the emergency and a sonogram was done while he went through the stress test. He will get the results in another week.

I suffered for a year with severe lower back pain and for several years with less severe intermittent lower back pain. The M.D. diagnosed me with arthritis and gave me Biox for pain. It helped as long as I was taking it, but I was reversely restricted in what I was able to do. As soon as I’d stop the medication, the pain was back as severe as before. After 4 or 5 treatments from Dr. Chen, the pain decreased. He took me off all pain medication. With acupuncture, manipulation and herbs I gradually became better and after 6 months, I am free of pain. It was a rather slow process for me, but I am pleased with it because I never thought I’d be able to do many of the things I enjoyed before. In August I was in constant severe pain unable to walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. Now I’m able to walk, run, stand, garden and paly with my dogs! I feel as thought Dr. Chen has given my life back to me. Cooking, entertaining, shopping and many of the necessary activities for a normal life are done once again free of pain. I went from feeling as though it would be a blessing to feeling like life is a pleasure.

After trying several different treatments for pain I sought acupuncture to treat my constant lower back pain as well as pain down my right leg. After receiving my 5th treatment, the pain in my legs subsided some what. Instead of the pain in my leg being constant it is intermittent. I believe the pain in my lower back will subside after receiving treatment for a minimum of 8 weeks / 16 treatments due to the complexity of my back injuries; bulging disc and annulae tear. Alternative /Chinese medicine does work and is gaining wider acceptance due to the increasing success rate.

My lower back was so painful on my right side that I had to use pillows to gain some comfort so I could fall asleep. After 4 treatments of Chinese manipulation, acupuncture treatment and herbs my back is 90% better. I feel no pain just slight discomfort if I move to quickly or bend in an unnatural position. I also came for stress and now I'm much more relayed and able to deal with my daily schedule.

Before therapy, I had pain in my back from flared fractures, two swollen vertebrae, and a fracture in my left knee. My lower right ribs were detached from the muscles. This happened when I fell on my side on an edge and they never healed properly. My right wrist was also swollen and it burned a lot.
Dr. Chen gave me herbs. Right after I took them, I no longer felt pain in my knee, and a week later, my left wrist stopped burning and hurting. The treatments I had for my back made me feel much better. The two areas in my back that used to swell up by the end of my work day seemed to stop swelling and the pain subsided.
Since I have been seeing Dr. Chen for treatments through herbs and acupuncture, my diabetes appears to be improving. I feel more relaxed; I sleep better; I feel more sensations throughout my body, and my blood pressure has substantially lowered.
I have had positive reactions and feel that the acupuncture was very effective. Dr. Chen gave me herbal pills for treatment, and my family practice doctor has been giving me insulin and pills (two shots per day). That hasn't helped, but the acupuncture has.

I want to thank Dr. Chen for changing my life. I have always been a skeptic of alternative medicine. I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 8 years. The pain and stiffness can be excruciating, and can limit your daily activities.
When I came to see him for the first time in December 2008, I was in extreme pain. I could not turn my wrists and the pain in my hands was extremely intense.
Since I have been getting treatments from him, I have stopped taking Methotrexate, which I had been taking weekly, for approximately 5 years. I have also decreased the daily dose of Celebrex I had been taking. I used to take 200 mg a day and am currently down to one 200 mg capsule twice a week. His treatment gave immediate results and I can now run and do all the activities I enjoy.

My wife was nearing the end of every Western medicine drug treatment, and physical therapy remedy offered to her as a relief for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Having been told of eastern medicine, and acupuncture, and a recommendation to Dr. Chen from a massage therapist, she decided it was time for something new. Although frightened, and skeptical, she agreed to visit Dr Chen.
Dr Chen's uncanny ability to read a person's physicality, through nothing more than a simple pulse reading soon had us both looking at each other in disbelief. But absolutely nothing prepared us for what occurred after the first visit. I started slowly, but increased as days went by. Years ago when my foot was crushed by a car, surgery could not be done until the swelling went down. Doctors pressure wrapped my foot & sent me home. I came to you the next day and will never forget what you said, " Beautiful wrapping but it will not help your foot." You assured me it will get better, unwrapped the foot, placed your special herbal poltice on the swollen foot, rewrapped it and the swelling went down by the next day.

My cholesterol level was always above 250 before. I took western medicine Liptor my cholesterol only decreased a little, besides it had side effect body pain etc. After taking herbs Dr Chen gave me 2 months ago, my cholesterol dramatically dropped from 300 to 195, LDL from 200 to 111, Triglycerid from 200 to 84. The herbs had no side effect.

Happy New Year! I have more great news from Switzerland. My wife is no longer experiencing the night sweats that were occurring due to her oncoming Menopause. I am also experience profound changes in the flexibility in my knees and ankles. I injured both pair of joints when I played football years ago. I am anxiously awaiting the complete shipment of my herbs and I would like to order more so that I do not run out. I am out of Jiubao at this time. I hope all is well.

I hope all is well with you. My power has really increased in the last week. My dan dian is really vibrating and full of energy. It is like swimming in the ocean. My training is out of this world(Qigong). The combination of the Jiubao and Qianliequing is extremely powerful. Every man should take this... Can you tell me when the extra bottles were sent? I am running low in the Jiubao. I am going to cut back to 2 per day to avoid running out. I will order more as soon as I receive the other bottles.
